| Model Number | This Apple watch band caught my attention for two reasons; 1. my favorite color is yellow and 2. I love the Wonder Woman franchise with Gal Gadot. I was very hesitant to purchase this as I tend to favor the buttery soft silicone bands directly from Apple vs third party silicone bands.The box did not come sealed which is very disappointing for the $39 price point, even higher when it’s not discounted. The yellow is a lot more dull in person vs photos (including my photos which is brightened due to environmental lighting). The Wonder Woman stamping (near the lugs) is not centered on the band I received, very disappointing. I’m a size 2 in Apple bands for reference and the smallest notch fits with a disappointing unwanted wiggle room, I like my bands nice and snug. If you are size 1 in Apple band this will be too big on you and you’ll have to create your own notch opening, which will make the band longer on the other side when worn. An additional band for smaller wrists should of been made available.The band came equipped with the larger lugs 44mm so when I swapped for the 40mm pair lugs that’s included, I was disappointed at how flimsy the attachments were. When I say attachments, the lugs are connect and disconnected by a small latch behind the bands where you can easily attach the different size of watch lugs. The lugs do wiggle when attached to the watch and worse make clunking sounds when you adjust the notches to wear.The QR code also doesn’t work and directs me to a bunch of letters and zero direction to an app to attain the corresponding watch faces. Once I found it on the app store I was incredibly disappointed at the images especially the single animated watch face they give, it doesn’t work! It ends up being a still photo instead! I’m fully updated with both my Apple IOS and apps so it was frustrating not to get the bonus they promised working correctly. The other themes in their app is also $1.99 unless you buy the matching bands. You’re better off finding better quality images elsewhere and using them off your personal photos instead.The only positive thing I can say about this band is that the material felt comfortable on my skin. It’s not as buttery smooth as the Apple bands but it also wasn’t itchy and cheap like most third parties. The band doesn’t look premium like I was hoping compared to the product images. In person it looks very cheap especially with the off centered printing. It has that cheap look to it that is almost made fit for a child’s watch instead.Glad I didn’t buy the other Wonder Woman bands because I’m honestly not inlove with this Mobyfox or it’s quality at all. I wouldn’t recommend it. |

| Material | I really love the design of this band and the company has so many great nerdy looks to choose from I figured I’d be buying stuff from them a lot after receiving this one.Unfortunately, because they don’t have the S/M M/L options like some others do (and the Apple watch comes with) the band itself is longer than what I need for my wrist (I am a woman and have small hands—not sure if my wrist size is typical for other women as that’s not something I really notice about other people haha). This might have been okay but the two places where I can most comfortably notch it make me choose between it being just slightly too tight or having the watch face flop around my wrist a bit. There were times I would wake up in the night and take it off. This has never been a problem with the S/M-sized purple watch band I bought on amazon from Haveda for $6.34. The material on that one is not as nice as this but I sleep all night with it and never notice it’s on my wrist.I finally decided to switch out my WW band this week after wearing it for less than a month because when I caught it on something it caused the pins to loosen and one of the sides to completely detach from my wrist and fall onto cement with the watch facedown (thankfully I had a protector that cracked instead of my watch!). Though I was able to reconnect the pins I no longer feel comfortable wearing this watch band, as nice as it looks.This is a great product if it fits your wrist correctly, which I’m sure skews toward fitting men a bit better. If you have smaller wrists you’ll want to weigh the benefits of having something this cool but possibly not having it function like you want. |
