I was originally concerned that it would be too loose for the heart monitor to work on the watch but was pleasantly surprised that while it is snug it is not overly tight or overly loose. My wrist is wrist where this sits is 6 3/4 inches.* Update: I’ve had this band for about a month and a half. I still absolutely love the look and have gotten many compliments on it. HOWEVER, the last couple weeks I have began to notice that the elastic rope in the band is breaking and unraveling. I’m probably going to have to switch back to the ugly black band that came with the watch which is highly disappointing.**update number 2 I’ve had this watch for a month and a half. It was so pretty and I loved it so much but now the rubber strings have finally broke apart. Of course at the worst time and beads went everywhere. I hate this because it was so pretty, but just didn’t last and kind of expensive for a disposable watch band 😠|

It was still beautiful though, and I wore it and the black/silver version in rotation to try to deter from a lot of wear and tear……. BUT at the beginning of May, so starting into the 3rd month after purchase, the strings were getting VERY thin. By the end of May one of the strings totally broke and I didn’t feel comfortable wearing it with my apple watch. I really do love the band, just trying to justify buying a replacement for something that didn’t last me longer than 3 months. I have a feeling my black/silver is going to break any day now.ORIGINAL: 5 Stars, I have only had the band for about 3 days now. So far I love it! It is a beautiful band, I have the rose gold/pink and it compliments my watch very well! I am concerned about the longevity of the elastic band. It’s really cute and sparkly and exactly what I was looking for.But the the elastic band was really snug on my wrist, and kept moving up to just under my hand, and then wouldn’t move. After just 10 minutes of trying to type on my laptop and repeatedly bumping it, the band snapped. This wasn’t listed as “child-sized” or noted that it was intended for only very small wrists. And I don’t have huge wrists, either. I actually own some child-sized bracelets (bought at mall stores, so not really expensive) and have no problem with them.I’m upset that I spent money on this and it’s so cute, but because the elastic was too taught it broke almost instantly. Save your money, folks. |
