| Model Number | This band caused a horrible rash on both of my wrists. I originally ordered the M/L size but returned it as it was way too big even though the measurements indicated that was my size. I returned it and ordered the s/m and the fit was significantly better. After wearing it for 2 days (daytime only) my left wrist began to develop a rash. I thought it was due to sweat so I loosened it one position and continued to wear it. The irritation did not go away so I switched the watch to my right wrist and not even a day had passed and a rash developed on this wrist as well. I’m not sure what “high-quality silicon” was used to manufacture these but it contains some kind of skin irritant. I have two other OEM Apple bands that have never caused any rash or irritation on my wrists in the year+ that I have worn my Apple watch. |
| Color | I’ve bought a lot of Apple Watch bands over the years and I’ve never had a problem until this one. Fits great looks great. BUT whatever type of plated metal is used for the clasp is junky cheap metal. The finish is being eaten off by my skin and my wrist now has an itchy rash from it. |
| Material | the band itself serves its purpose — i like the style, and i like the fit/closure. however, the materials are certainly not high-quality. i’ve worn this band for 4 days total, for about 13 hours per day… after the first two days, i began to develop a bit of a rash which i thought was from sweat or something. i wore the band again the following day and the rash got worse so i took it off and rested my skin for a couple of weeks. i wore it again for about 3-5 hours yesterday, and after only that amount of time, my skin began to get itchy and irritated. i removed it and saw a patchy, red blotch on my arm underneath where the metal of the closure sits. the photo is from today after 24 hours without having anything touch my skin. it’s still itchy, and it feels like it’s starting to turn scaly. this is the first band i’ve ever had any issues with, and of course, i can no longer return this item. i bought one for my husband as well and he had the same reaction. waste of money  |
| Power Source | So I ended up returning this item because the seller/manufacturer must have tried to hide the clasping mechanism of this Sports Band. The mechanism is the kind that has a secondary threading mechanism – which they probably claim makes the band “more secure”, but really I’ve found this mechanism only ever interferes with the ability to put on the band.I don’t know why these 3rd party manufacturers keep producing this sports band type, it’s awful! When you try to put the watch on, it makes you have to thread the band through an additional slot prior to securing it with the metallic pin, and then push it through an additional slot. The process of trying to put it through the second slot for the final securing of the watch ALWAYS makes the pin pop out of the band’s mesh and ultimately makes it impossible to put on with one hand. |
