| Color | This band is AWESOME. I have bought my Apple Watch bands from Amazon for years because Apple’s watch band prices are well beyond over priced. I refuse to pay that price for a little band. These Amazon bands do just fine and last just as long, but this brand is so far my favorite! The material feels like real Apple Watch bands (most of them do but you can slightly feel a more rubbery texture to them), but this one feels so nice. The button is different than the Apple Watch bands, but I love it! I got the Pink Sand one and the button to fasten the Apple Watch is rectangular with a Rose Gold color. Super cute! |
| Material | Update: I did reorder a second band because I liked the color so much and this one fits perfect. So I’m upgrading this to 4 stars. Still deducting 1 star because the first band I received did not fit properly, so there may be a quality control issue.Orig review: I love the nut brown color, it was exactly as I was hoping. The band feels and looks quality. For those things, I give it 2 stars. However, the fit was off. I double checked I ordered the correct size (38mm/40mm) and also looked at the package label. While both sections of the band locked into my watch fine, the band is too wide where it meets the watch and looks ridiculous. Unfortunately, it was returned the day it was received. Maybe I was sent the wrong size which was mislabeled, but I didn’t want to take the chance and re-order. If the fit had been better I would’ve been very pleased. |
| Power Source | I purchased this watch band strictly because of the color (denim) being offered. There are two significant differences between this band and the Apple Watch band: (1) the attachment process is different, where the strap goes through one hole, is pressed onto the little metal part, then slipped through another hole to rest against your skin (the Apple Watch band skips the first step), and (2) the silicone band is a little thinner than on the Apple band. This is significant because the band doesn’t slip quite as easily next to your skin, and tends to buckle, esp. if you wear the band snugly. I’m not sure if the metal part is too small, because several times after putting it on the band just separate from the metal part, causing the watch to fall. I’ve been using it for a couple months, but have since gone back to my $50 (arghh!) Apple Watch band. |
